Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive at Delhi you'll be welcomed in a traditional manner by our representatives and they will also help you with the airport formalities. Later, you will be driven to a hotel where you can freshen up and relax. You'll be provided meals there and you can rest at the hotel overnight.
Day 02: Delhi
You'll be visiting many places of diverse interests such as Laxmi Narayan Temple where you will witness a gamut of traditions as well as religious activities. Later, you will visit the India Gate which is a war memorial for soldiers who died in World War I, Parliament House, Jama Masjid which is India's biggest mosque and Red Fort. At the end of the day, you would also be taken to Gandhi Memorial, also known as Raj Ghat, where you will enjoy the sound and light show in the evening.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
You will have breakfast at the hotel, after which you will leave for Agra. En route to Agra, you will be visiting Akbar's Tomb at Sikandara. Upon reaching Agra, you would be taken to explore the splendid and charismatic Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, the monument has become synonymous to eternal love. Other places of interest are the Red Fort which was built and completed by three generations of Mughals. You will be accommodated for an overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
On day four, you will be driving to Jaipur and on your way to Jaipur, you will visit the Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar. Also you would visit Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. You will be received by our representatives at the hotel on reaching Jaipur, where you can relax and later you can visit the city and checkout the life and culture of people in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
In morning after having breakfast you will be taken on an excursion to Amber Fort atop a beautifully adorned elephant beautified with Rajasthani patterns. Later during the day you will visit the City Palace, a series of large courtyards, beautiful gardens & buildings with a seamless blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, the Jaipur Observatory popularly known as Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. You will spend the night at a hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur - Udaipur
You will be driven to Jaipur Airport, from where you will catch a flight to Udaipur. Arriving at Udaipur, our executives will escort you to the hotel where after relaxing for a while, you will be taken on a tour of the city which will cover the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, which along with its scenic beauty, serves as a natural habitat to a list of fauna. Sahelion ki Bari and Bhartiya Lok Kala Kendra which is a folk art museum are other attractions you are likely to explore.
Day 07: Udaipur - Mumbai
Following day, you will be driven to the airport from where you will be boarding a flight to Mumbai. Upon reaching Mumbai, you will be received by our representative at the airport who will help you check-in to a hotel. Later during the day, you will be visiting Gateway of India, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhavan, Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, and drive past the Crawford market, Marine drive & Flora Fountain. Also, you will visit the spectacular hanging gardens.
Day 08: Mumbai - Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the airport from where you'll board a flight to Cochin. As you arrive at Cochin, our executive will receive you at the airport and later, will help you check-in to a hotel. Later during the day, you will be taken on a tour of the city. The enchanting Jewish Synagogue would be the first stop. Next in line is St. Francis Church which is the oldest church in India. The evening of day eight would be unusual from the rest for you would witness a Kathakali dance performance by trained folk dancers. You will be driven back to the hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 09: Cochin - Periyar
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Periyar which is, at times, called "Queen of the Arabian Sea". At arrival you will be received by our representative who will help you check in to a hotel. You have the whole day to leisure and you can go out for short stroll or shop at the local market. You will stay at the hotel overnight.
Day 10: Periyar
In the morning, you will be taken on a city trip. Periyar greets you with its mist-capped peaks, spice plantations and open grasslands and stunning waterfalls. The trekking trails await you to quench your exciting adventurous spirit. You will be taken on a boat ride from where you would see the expanse of the scenic beauty of Periyar. Apart from its scenic beauty, Kerala is famous for its mouth watering cuisine, so take delight in the luscious dinner and sleep well for the night at the hotel room.
Day 11: Periyar
Most of the times tours are all about visiting interesting locales, exploring new horizons, traveling the unexplored path and meeting native people. However, this is a tour with a difference for after breakfast on day eleven, you would be visiting a cookery school, where you will learn to cook delicious Kerala cuisine. Kerala cuisine has a unique flavor, which is derived from extensive use of coconut and exotic spices in the dishes. After the cookery classes, you will return to the hotel.
Day 12: Periyar
After having a traditional Keralite breakfast at the hotel, you will be visiting the spice market which is famous for its wide variety of spices as well as the setting of the market which haven't changed in years. You will be attending the Ayurvedic principles of cooking after which you will also learn cooking vegetarian food. You will return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Periyar - Kumarakom
Later after the breakfast at the hotel you will be visiting Kumarakom. Kumarakom is famous for its scenic beauty as well as its romantic and pristine boat rides. You will be experiencing one such boat ride to Coconut Lagoon, which is full of beautiful sceneries and natural wonders. You will stay at a hotel overnight.
Day 14: Kumarakom
As Kerala is a state of spices, the taste of food changes every kilometer. After you have breakfast, you will be taken to a cooking fiesta where you will learn to cook some more Kerala cuisines. After the cooking classes you will be brought back to the hotel where you will be spending the night.
Day 15: Kumarakom - Chennai
After a traditional Keralite breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to the airport from where you will board a flight to Chennai. As soon as you reach Chennai, you will be received by our representative, who will straight away drive you to Kapaleeswarar temple, Santhome Church, Fort Museum and National Art Gallery. At the end of the day, you will be taken to a hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 16: Chennai
After having breakfast at the hotel you will be taken on a city trip, where you will be visiting a number of interesting places in Chennai such as Cavelong Beach, MGR Memorial, Freemasons Hall, St. Mary's Church, Parthsarthy Temple etc. After a day long excursion, you will be brought back to the hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 17: Chennai - Kolkata
From Chennai, you will be driven to Kanchipuram which once was the capital of Chennai and the city is famous for the art and architecture of the temples. A few such temples are Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Varatharaja Temple and Ekambareswara Temple. You'll also be traveling to Mahabalipuram to visit the famous shore temple and monolithic rathas and bas-reliefs. You will be taken back to Chennai from where you'll board a flight to Kolkata.
Day 18: Kolkata
After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken on the tour of the city. You will be visiting number of places of tourist interest. A few such places are Victoria Memorial, Fort William, Birla Planetarium, Howrah Bridge and Dakhineshwar Kali Temple which is famous for its architecture and traditional values. After visiting all these places, you will return to the hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 19: Kolkata
After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken to a cookery class where you will learn to cook Bengali cuisine which along with being delicious is very hot and spicy, because of the exotic spices used while cooking it. Bengali food mainly consists of non vegetarian cuisine including chicken, mutton and fish. At the end of class, you will be brought back to the hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 20: Kolkata
The next day after breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the Kolkata International Airport from where you will board flight to your respective destinations.
